Anti-D Injection Administration
Please purchase the vaccination from a pharmacy after getting a script from your obstetrician and bring with you so I can administer. Anti-D immunoglobulin is administered routinely during the third trimester of your pregnancy if your blood type is RhD negative. This is because it's likely that small amounts of blood from your baby will pass into your blood during this time.

The most common side effects are a mildly sore arm on the afternoon or the next day, occasionally accompanied by a slight headache and a temporary "off" feeling for a day or two post-vaccination. It's reassuring to note that children can typically resume their normal routine, including school attendance, on the day or the following day of vaccination.
